Dejan (Cyrillic: Дејан; IPA: /dɛjan/ ) is a Slavic male name derived from deja, meaning "to do something, to act." It may also be related to the Latin deus, meaning "god". It is a name in common use in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia, and was the sixth most popular boy name in Republic of Macedonia, 2006. Its feminine counterpart is Dejana.
The name 'Dejan' or pronounced Deyan derives of Hebrew origins and it means 'judge' or 'justice'.
